Durham, North Carolina has been my home since the early ’90s. My educational background is in experimental psychology/experimental design and in medicine (with special emphasis on neurology, neuroanatomy, and epileptology), but am not in a practice. Aside from education, active interests include gardening (flowers and vegetables for personal use) and working with a friend on his farm to grow flowers and organic vegetables for local farmers’ markets. I’ve recently become a fledgling bird watcher after doing my first Project Feeder Watch this past winter. Other activities include cooking , combining food and wine, painting (acrylics since they can be so versatile), birdwatching and digital photography,
