The Gardening and Environmental Studies Special Interest Group will hold a virtual tour of the Elisabeth C. Miller Library of the University of Washington Botanic Gardens on Thursday, September 24th at 10 am Pacific/ 1 pm Eastern time.

This virtual presentation will be held on Zoom and will be open to members.  A Zoom link will be sent out to members.

Gardening and Environmental Studies

The Gardening and Environmental Studies Special Interest Group is an alliance of trained, skilled indexers with education and experience in a wide range of relevant subject areas. This Special Interest Group is an affiliate of the American Society for Indexing, and holds membership in the Garden Writers Association.

Special interest groups are important because indexers generally feel they can work most efficiently in the areas of their expertise. This SIG also promotes continuing indexer education through group networking and workshops presented by members at appropriate conferences. Group marketing efforts target authors, editors, and publishers within the subject areas.

The “Find an Indexer” section is an online directory of our members, indexed according to capability in various subject areas, indexing project formats, and foreign languages.
