The Gardening and Environmental Studies Special Interest Group, an affiliate of the American Society for Indexing, is an alliance of trained, skilled indexers with education and experience in a wide range of relevant subject areas.Special interest groups are important because indexers generally feel they can work most efficiently in the areas of their expertise. This SIG also promotes continuing indexer education through group networking and workshops presented by members at appropriate conferences. Group marketing efforts target authors, editors, and publishers within the subject areas.
The “Find an Indexer” section is an online directory of our members, indexed according to capability in various subject areas, indexing project formats, and foreign languages.
